I’m Kim Adams, the founder of Seed and Vine Individual Nutrition. The story of how SAVI nutrition came about is also my story….
In 2013 I decided to combine my passion for healthy eating with my skills at taking people through change. This is when the idea for Seed and Vine Individual Nutrition took root. I trained as a Nutritional Therapist with the idea of working with individuals, with communities and with organisations; supporting them – supporting you – to make lasting diet and lifestyle changes. ‘Seed and Vine’ because I can help you shape your goals, help you grow and develop skills to optimise your nutrition. ‘Individual’ because every person, organisation and community is unique. But how did I get here? |
I have spent over twenty years supporting people through change. Difficult change; sometimes painful change, usually life-altering, transformational change. I have sat holding cancer patients’ hands as they came to terms with the worst possible news. I have supported widowers who didn’t know how to move forwards. I have helped battered communities armed with grit, passion and determination to build better lives for themselves, for their families. And I have worked with multi-million pound organisations, transforming the services that they offer by supporting staff teams to change their culture and ways of working.
Throughout this time I have been constantly inspired by how resourceful and resilient people are. I have learnt when and how to motivate, where to support and when to step back and give people the time and space to make lasting change. And in the background, at home, I have had an overwhelming passion for food. Tasty food, healthy food, innovative, exciting, food that is full of flavour. All of my passion, my enthusiasm and my experience have been channelled into SAVI nutrition. I won’t give you fixed programmes and plans. Everything I deliver to you will be tailored to your circumstances, your needs and your strengths. |
Welcome to SAVI nutrition – I look forward to growing together!
